The collection as assembled by Mrs. Hale, a public relations assistant, contains press releases, clippings, itineraries, a program and the minutes of the committee who arranged the event. The papers describe the painting of the Salle Lafayette by Robert and Martha La Montagne Saint Hubert as a memorial to Jefferson & Lafayette and its dedication by French ambassador Paul Claudel.
